FUN (AND MAYBE WEIRD) FACTS ABOUT ANIBA HOTEP...

1. I luuuuuv X-MEN comic books. I was more drawn to the late 70's sagas such as The Dark Phoenix and the exploits of the Hellfire Club. (I was NOT a big fan of the Genosha thing in the 80's-okayyy!) I just think the writing was better during that period, by the time they got to characters like Cable and Bishop everyone was so sarcastic that you really did'nt care what happened if they whole team was captured by The Brood, y'know what I mean? I know I am supposed to say that Storm was my favorite, but they don't give sisters cool powers in mainstream comics. Ever.

SOUTHERN COMFORT

My first summer in college, a group of us were talking about current music (How current?, well I'll give you a hint- Faith Evans' "Used to Love Me" was a new single!) and I forget how, but I ended up singing either Faith or Whitney and another young lady who sang before me watched and waited until I was done. Innocently enough, she gushed over how great she thought it sounded. Then, "Where were you trained?"
